This listing is to book The Great Smoky Mountains National Park Suite, a private, beautiful suite in the Mountain Hideaway - One of Leadville's Historic Victorian mansions!
You'll have your own bedroom & private bathroom, both of which are pictured in this listing. The Smoky Mountain suite has a queen bed, stand up shower, a desk, and a smart TV with Netflix & HBO.
You'll also have access to all of the amazing amenities that are spread throughout this historic Victorian mansion.
The Gym: Equipped with a treadmill, elliptical machine, Bowflex adjustable weights with bench, kettlebells and yoga mats.
The Spa: We've installed a 4 person, infrared sauna in the spa room. We also have complimentary tea, yoga mats to stretch & a fountain for ambiance.
The Kitchen: Recently upgraded to provide maximum utility and enjoyment for our guests. This kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, has a gas range for cooking, and is large enough to cook and enjoy whatever meal you're in the mood for.
The Living Room: Large, Open concept room with a Pool Table, TV, excellent Stereo & Plenty of Seating.
Other Rooms: Please note that there are 9 bedrooms total throughout the Mountain Hideaway. Depending on how busy the day/week/season is, you may be sharing the home with other groups.

You have access to anything in the house, aside from the other rooms that are rented by other guests. Help yourself to anything in the kitchen. Make yourself at home and feel free to enjoy anything in the living room, gym or spa.

Disclosure: There is going to be some city construction going on this summer. We apologize! We will remove this disclosure when the project is completed. You may encounter some road or alley blockages near the home during your stay. Construction will not be going on outside of weekday 8am-5pm hours. Parking can be found on 7th and 8th Street.
The location of The Mountain Hideaway is one of the main reasons we chose to settle in here - it's amazing! You're only 1 block from Harrison Street, Leadville's Main Street, but the neighborhood itself is quiet, peaceful and safe. The lodge has a huge yard with multiple decks, and plenty of parking.
We're just a block from Main Street in downtown Leadville and less than an hour's drive from many of the best ski slopes, 14ers, and hikes in Colorado. Ski Cooper and Copper Mountain are the best choice for exciting snow activities!
The vast majority of our guests bring a car, as most of the activities to be enjoyed throughout the mountains are a bit further away than a walk will allow. That said, you're within walking distance to pretty much anything that is within the main Downtown Area of Leadville. There is plenty of free parking is available in our parking lot.

To make sure everyone can enjoy the space, Smoking or Vaping tobacco is strictly prohibited throughout the entire property. This includes balconies, decks, patios, the hot tub & the yard. You must go to the sidewalk or street to smoke tobacco. We will cancel your reservation if you smoke on the property. Marijuana smoking is fine as long as it's outside.
Please note: children are not permitted at this rental. If this policy is violated you will be asked to leave and no refund will be issued.
The Mountain Hideaway has a 1 gigabit internet line broadcasted throughout the entire house, so the internet is incredibly fast in every single room!

We do everything we can to be environmentally friendly at The Mountain Hideaway. The lodge is powered by renewable wind energy offsets and we've taken many steps to make sure our environmental impact is as little as possible. That said, Please help us out by turning off the lights, turning down the heat, and recycling whenever possible. Thank You!
Staying in the mountains offers a unique and nature-immersed experience, characterized by a rustic charm. You might occasionally encounter some of the local wildlife, insects, and small critters that are part of the natural surroundings. We recommend keeping doors securely closed whenever possible. Rest assured, we've implemented thorough measures to ensure your stay remains undisturbed by these natural inhabitants.
Altitude sickness is real. In Leadville/ Twin Lakes, the elevation can be up to 10,000 feet. Symptoms can include dizziness and nausea, so please be mindful of this. We cannot offer refunds for guests experiencing altitude sickness. If you anticipate being affected, we recommend obtaining insurance at the time of booking.View More

Cool experience staying at the highest city in the country, with easy access to Copper and A-Basin. Had a nice and relaxing stay at Alex & Nadim's place, and the infrared sauna is such a treat. Would definitely like to stay here again some day!Show more The house and room were as described. It runs like a self check-in and check-out hotel with common spaces. That's all great. The only negative items were, semi-clean hot tub water and the condition of some common area things such as the rugs, kitchen cabinets, and broken kitchen appliances. We had a nice time and I'd go back, however.Show more What a great place with easy access to Main Street and the surrounding area. The house has lots of space to spread out, room felt very private.
